Sankranti – A Village Festival

This Sankranti, come and celebrate Sankranti with us at four different Farmizen farms in Bangalore – on cards is kite flying, traditional cow pooja, and a lot more. And you can bring a picnic hamper along with you and do a picnic as well !

   11 am to 1:30 pm – FREE Event – everyone’s invited – Bring your own kites – try to get non plastic threads. We will fly kites, do a traditional cow pooja at 12:30 am and have some millet sweets made by the farmer family.

   11 am to 1:30 pm – FREE event – everyone’s invited – Bring your own kites – try to get non plastic threads. Since there are a lot of trees in the farm, we will fly the kites from the terrace of the farmhouse !

   PAID event conducted by Green Path  – needs prior booking – please contact 080-26569777  or 9886966662 for any questions about this event. Rs 750 per person.
   11 am to 7 pm – festive gala meals with wide variety of dishes, kite flying, rashi/grains pooja, cow decoration, bhogi/campfire, cultural performances including music by Akhanda band, hands on work with organic farming.
