Ingredients:
Small Size Purple Brinjal – 8 no’s
Channa Dal – 1 Tbsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tbsp
Jeera – 1 Tbsp
Corrainder Seeds – 1 Tbsp
Small amla size tamarind
Red Chillies – 4 no’s
Garlic – 2 Pods
Salt – As per taste
Oil – As per required
Preparation Steps:
Step 1: Wash brinjal and cut brinjals into four pieces without making it break completely. Put them into water (Add little salt and turmeric into water)
Step 2: Take a tawa and add channa dal allow it to fry for a min (Without oil)
Step 3 : Now add Urad dal, jeera, corrainder seeds and fry them till the raw flavor goes off
Step 4 : Now add red chillies and garlic, once the raw flavor goes add tamarind and turn off the stove.
Step 5: Allow the ingredients to cool down, take a mixer jar add the fried ingredients and required salt (as per your taste) mix into a coarse powder.
Step 6: Once the powder is ready stuff them into those brinjals.
Step 7: Keep a tawa, add oil 8 tbsps.
Step 8: Once the oil is hot add those brinjals and sprinkle little salt on them. Keep lid for 5 to 8 mins.
Step 9: Now take off the lid, mix/turn them well until every brinjal is properly cooked/fried
Step 10: Once the curry is ready serve with hot rice and ghee.
