Farmizen as a concept is what we need right now. I had only tried it out in a whim since the variety of vegetables we were getting from the local stores wasn't great. And now, I'm hooked. The quality of vegetables is great, it's fresh, the quantity is enough to feed a whole family and now we're consistently eating veggies and feeling much healthier. I also love that local farmers are supported as a result and that I can rely on a surprise bundle to arrive every Monday. My mom and I get on call every Monday to see what the bundle brings and think up recipes. It's like being home. Also, hat tip for sending us neem leaves, Amla and raw mangoes to build immunity. I truly love my Farmizen veggie subscription. With its amazing variety of organic vegetables, I can definitely credit it with successfully helping my family make the transition from hard core carnivores to vegans (we always had meat or fish at lunch and dinner before and the only vegetables that entered our house pre-Farmizen were tomatoes, onions and potatoes :-D).
Post-Farmizen, our (numerous) health issues have been reversed and we are living fuller, happier lives. Our friends and family are astounded by the fact that we are now happy vegans. I am using farmizen for last few months to buy organic fruits, lentils, oil, dry fruits and many other interesting things. We have enjoyed apples from Himachal, Nagpur oranges, Alphonso mango from Ratnagiri and so many other fruits which are grown chemical free. The taste of these fruits reminds us of the fruits we ate in our childhood- very sweet, very juicy unlike what we were buying online or in the market for last so many years. Also I had forgotten which fruits we get in which season because we get almost everything any time of the year in the market these days. But eating the fresh produce of the season is the most healthy way of eating. I am back to being more connected with the nature now. You have to experience this to know the difference between chemical free food and what we get in the market.
